Antibiotic coated intra-medullary nails

Designed to provide stability in infected femur or tibia fractures. The PMMA antibiotic bone cement coating provides local antibiotic release, that aids in the treatment of the infection.
They remain implanted until the resolution of the infectious process, at the surgeon’s discretion, and should not remain in situ for more than 6 months.

 

Indicated for the treatment of:

  • Infected diaphyseal fractures of the femur or tibia
  • Infected pseudoarthrosis
  • Diaphyseal osteomyelitis

 

Available with gentamicin or tobramycin in a wide range of diameters and lengths.
