GLASS IONOMER FOR RESTORATIONS.

Ionomax is a high resistance, chemically curing, glass ionomer cement indicated for the restoration of temporary dental pieces, stump reconstructions and Class III and V restorations. It is a radio-opaque material which stands out for its solidity, chemical adhesion to the dental structure, and its ability to release fluoride ions throughout long periods of time. This cement is little soluble in the oral environment, which provides stability through time. After mixing, its viscosity is higher than that of normal cements, it is not sticky and can be correctly placed into the cavity without loosing its adhesion ability.
